'Business Insider' quotes a source close to One Direction as saying Swift flew back home on January 4 “after getting into a heated argument with Styles.”
Some on the World Wide Web of Speculation are speculating Taylor may have confirmed the news on Twitter. Over the weekend she cryptically tweeted “…’til you put me down,” a lyric from her current single “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
A group of pranksters with a twisted sense of humor began an online campaign yesterday to get Bieber fans to start cutting themselves until he gives up weed for good.
The hoax, in response to the pictures that surfaced of Justin smoking pot, involved someone posting pics of bleeding arms, allegedly from “cutting,” and the hashtag #cut4bieber. The fake pictures quickly took on a life of its own, and the hashtag began trending on Twitter.
Bieber buddy Miley Cyrus was furious over the whole thing and tweeted, "Cutting is NOT something to joke about. There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful."
LOHAN LUNACY - LINDSAY A NO-SHOW IN COURT/PROCEEDINGS DELAYED: In news that will shock absolutely no one, LINDSAY LOHAN was a no-show in court yesterday, but she wound up catching a break.
As we reported yesterday, Linds was supposed to make her first appearance in connection with her November arrest for punching a woman in the face at a New York nightclub. Lucky for Lindsay, though, there was no hearing.
Prosecutors said they hadn't yet finished their investigation and haven't yet drawn up a criminal complaint, so after signing some paperwork, Lindsay's lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, went on his way.
But not before predicting that no charges will ever be filed. Linds, he says, is quote, "a victim of someone trying to capture their 15 minutes of fame."
Dina Lohan tells the New York Daily News, "Lindsay saw her dad abuse me -- that’s why she’s so screwed up." Dina says ex-husband Michael physically assaulted and once raped her during their 22-year marriage.
Though she never filed domestic abuse charges, Dina says she's coming forward now to "set the record straight" and it was Lindsay who convinced her to do so. “When Lindsay saw the photo she was furious,” said Dina. “She said, ‘Tell the world! Talk about it!’”
Michael is vehemently denying assaulting or raping his ex. “She’s bringing this up now because she’s drinking and partying with Lindsay. And she keeps robbing Lindsay,” said Michael. “She is the devil.”
MARIAH CAREY SAYS SHE FELT "UNSAFE" ON "AMERICAN IDOL" DURING THE NICKI MINAJ DRAMA: In an interview with BARBARA WALTERS that aired on "Nightline" last night, MARIAH CAREY confirmed that NICKI MINAJ threatened her on the set of "American Idol" a couple of months ago, and she took it seriously enough to hire extra security.
Quote, "It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate." Barbara said Mariah and Nicki have since made up, and word on the set is the two are on speaking terms again.
On a related note ... Mimi just completed a tour of Australia over the weekend that critics Down Under are describing as “awkward,” “unrehearsed” and “uneven.” And those are the good reviews.
The tour got off to a troubled start when during opening night on New Year’s Day she stopped the show due to sound problems, telling the audience, “I’m not asking for the moon and the stars… There’s a lot of sound problems going on here.” Meanwhile, a review in the Brisbane Times described Mariah as “caricature of herself.”
