Joseph Jackson was arrested at a Swift concert in Pittsburgh after Tay's security team was tipped off that Jackson had posted death threats about her on Facebook. When cops saw him at the show holding a sign that read "Taylor Swift is Satan," they questioned him about his Facebook posts.
Jackson replied, quote, "Taylor Swift is Satan and that 6,000 years is six days and death comes on the sixth day, so Taylor Swift is in danger." He was taken into custody and will undergo a mental evaluation.
This is a perfect example of why Taylor spends big bucks on a security team. They've rescued her, not just from this idiot, but the guy in Rhode Island who was stalking her, and the creep who occupied her Nashville property -- and those are just the ones we know about.
But Taylor knows it comes with the territory. She recently told Britain's "Cosmopolitan" magazine, quote, "It's the price you pay for getting to do what you love," adding, "That's why I'm so grateful I have people looking after me, like [my bodyguard] Dennis."
