It's interesting to note that back in May, Katy professed her love of Bareilles, tweeting a link to the song and the words "I heart you @SaraBareilles!"
Katy hasn't commented on the comparison, and technically Sara hasn't either -- although she did Tweet, quote, "All love, everybody. All love" in response to her fans asking her about the songs' similarities.

PAULA DEEN RACE DISCRIMINATION CHARGES DROPPED: Finally, some good news for Paula Deen. A judge yesterday ruled that former restaurant manager Lisa Jackson had no right to sue Deen for racial discrimination because she is white.
Jackson tried to claim someone in her family was bi-racial, which may not be true, but the judge ruled that even if it was true, she was at best an “accidental victim” of racial discrimination.
Unfortunately for Paula, the damage that exploded from the filing of that lawsuit is already done. Deen's reputation and bank account took a huge hit after the release of her deposition in the lawsuit, in which she admitted to having used the N-word in the past. As a result, she was dropped from the Food Network as well as a bunch of her business partners.
Jackson also filed sexual harassment claims against Deen and her brother Bubba, and those charges still stand in the ongoing case.
