SNAPSHOT: MILEY CYRUS stumbling into Chateau Marmont at 1 a.m Saturday ...

She stayed for a couple of hours before her people slipped her out the back door. (--Miley turned 18 in November, which still makes her three years below the legal drinking age in California.)

AND THE WINNER IS...: BRAD WOMACK chose single mom Emily Maynard on last night's finale of "The Bachelor" ...

Before proposing to Emily, though, Brad had to let Chantal O'Brien, the other finalist,  know she wasn't the one. And Chantal clearly didn't take the news well ...

Later, in the "After the Rose" special, Brad confessed that while he and Emily are still a couple, they actually had a break-up after the proposal. And although she says she considers them engaged, Emily said she's not ready for marriage, or moving in together.  Mazeltov, ABC, on another TV match made in heaven. And, ladies,  I know you're curious about the engagement ring so here's a screen grab closeup ...

QUOTE/UNQUOTE: "It's like the one time on Earth I'm like, 'Thank God Charlie Sheen exists.'" --PETE WENTZ speaking to the mantastic RYAN SEACREST about his divorce from ASHLEE SIMPSON and how grateful he is not to be the big story in showbiz these days.

COVER SHOT: The just turned 36 EVA LONGORIA is the latest cover girl for Allure magazine ...

In the accompanying interview, Eva says that following the divorce from San Antonio Spurs player TONY PARKER, she spent lots of time crying. “I’m used to always being on a plane and flying to a basketball game,” she say. “It’s been difficult. Every time I talk about our break-up, I want to cry. I’m just trying to get through it as gracefully as possible without any drama.”

Meanwhile ... COURTENEY COX opened up to Harper's Bazaar about her split from DAVID ARQUETTE.

"I think every relationship has a point where you stop and reevaluate. Are you happy? Have you grown together or apart? What do you share interests in? I think that's a normal thing to do, but it's so much harder when it's done publicly."
