IT'S OFFICIAL - CHARLIE OUT, ASHTON IN: As we reported yesterday, ASHTON KUTCHER will take over for CHARLIE SHEEN on ‘Two and a Half Men’ next fall.

“I can’t replace Charlie Sheen but I’m going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!” Kutcher said in a statement released yesterday. “I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers’ homes,” he added.

Details on how Sheen's exit and Kutcher’s entrance will be explained has not been shared with the media other than a source telling People magazine, quote, “It’s really funny. People are going to love it.”

Kutcher got the gig only after HUGH GRANT turned it down, reportedly over creative differences.

KYM JOHNSON IS LATEST 'DWTS' INJURED: "Dancing with the Stars" pro KYM JOHNSON was rushed to the hospital last night after injuring her neck while practicing with her celebrity partner, HINES WARD, for Monday night's competiton. Kym was treated and released after several hours later.


"I'm a little shaken up, sore but I will be fine," she wrote on Facebook. ABC echoed her statement, but added she's currently wearing a neck brack. According to their statement, "Kym plans to continue...in the competition and resume rehearsals as soon as possible."
