Today, more details are emerging about how exactly Nick reacted. TMZ is reporting that Lachey's trash talking didn't just turn nasty, it turned violent. Nick, they say, chocked the San Diego Chargers fan and called the guy's wife a "f**king b*tch"
Video obtained by the gossip site shows Nick and his crew excessively poking fun of the Charger’s fan wearing the jersey of player from years gone by. That’s when the guy’s wife shot back at Nick, quote, “Well, he lasted longer than your boy band," referring to the former footballers playing days.
That's when Nick reportedly flipped out and lunged at the Chargers fan, allegedly grabbing him by the throat and shoved him to the ground.
Nick's rep tells TMZ the guy's story has been greatly exaggerated. "It was nothing but a spirited debate between fans of opposing teams. At no point did Nick say anything derogatory to the man's wife and anything to suggest the contrary is simply untrue."
Word is the Chargers fan plans to file a police report against Lachey. His hiring of Gloria Allred will soon follow, I'm sure.
