Convicted murderer and rapist Dana Martin, who was reportedly obsessed with Bieber, placed the call from the Las Cruces state prison last November to Tanner Ruane, who is one of the men accused of conspiring to carry out the plot since Martin was behind bars. Martin had also allegedly directed Mark Staake, who is Ruan's uncle, to carry out the murders.
In the call, a clip of which you can listen to below ... Martin is heard telling Ruane that Mark was “going to kill the pitbulls and you’re going to castrate them,” with “pitbulls” being a code word for Bieber and his bodyguard.
Police said the men planned to use hedge clippers to castrate Bieber and his bodyguard in New York City, and Ruane is heard in the recording saying he bought the clippers. Martin also instructs the men to suffocate their victims with his signature paisley scarf.

The murders were supposed to happen while Bieber was in New York performing at Madison Square Garden, but Ruane and Staake were intercepted by police before they could carry out their plot.
IN DENIAL - KELLY CLARKSON REFUTES CLIVE DAVIS BOOK CLAIMS: KELLY CLARKSON is putting famed music executive Clive Davis on blast for what she calls “false information” in his just released memoir, "The Soundtrack of My Life".
In a blog posted on her website yesterday, Clarkson wrote: “I refused to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation.”
Specifically, Clarkson refutes Davis’ assertion that she hysterically cried over the inclusion of “Since U Been Gone” on her album Breakaway, calling his account “not true at all.”
But she does admit to crying in his office about her song “Because of You.” “I cried because he hated it and told me verbatim that I was a ‘sh*tty writer who should be grateful for the gifts that he bestows upon me,’” she wrote. “He continued on about how the song didn’t rhyme and how I should just shut up and sing."
Kelly also alleges Davis, quote, “completely sabotaged” her subsequent album 'My December'.
Clive hit up Twitter to respond to Kelly’s post, writing that he thinks Clarkson is a “tremendous vocal talent and performer,” adding that he is “truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together.”
Clive also issued a statement in which he assures he had "every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all."

Rumors have been swirling this week that producers have asked MARIO LOPEZ to return next season, but not Khloe.
TMZ asked Kim about the word on the street, to which Kim replied, "A lot of people say a lot of incorrect things on the daily." Asked what really happened, Kim added, "Probably nothing."
For the record, producers haven't made an official decision on Khloe or Mario’s fate yet.
LOHAN LUNACY - LINDSAY'S NEW MAN: We're not sure what happened to The Wanted's MAX GEORGE, but LINDSAY LOHAN has apparently moved on.
According to the New York Post, Linds has been spotted out and about in New York with DJ Julian Cavin. An eyewitness who say them together at a clubs says, "They were acting like a couple. I saw them holding hands, and at times she would rest her head on his shoulder and just act really affectionate.”
Cavin, however, denies they are anything but buddies. He tells TMZ, "Lindsay and I are just friends. We are not dating... She comes to a bunch of my DJ gigs. Sunday she came and was hanging in the booth."
Meanwhile ... Lindsay has turned down 200 grand because she thinks she’s worth a lot more.
“Lindsay wants $500k for an appearance in Dubai to promote Mr. Pink’s Ginseng Energy Drink, which executives at the company are balking at,” said a source. “Mr. Pink is prepared to offer the actress $200k, and would pay for all of LiLo’s travel expenses.”
According to Radaronline, Lindsay is demanding half a million dollars to promote an energy drink in Dubai.
BABY POOP - MARIO LOPEZ IS GOING TO BE A DADDY AGAIN: MARIO LOPEZ and wife Courtney Mazza are expecting their second child. Mario made the announcement on "Extra" last night by bringing out their 2-year-old daughter Gia, who was wearing a shirt that read, "Big Sister Gia".
Courtney tells Us Weekly she's due "around Gia's birthday [September 11th]."
