DID BRITNEY SPEARS SAY ANNETTE FUNICELLO'S DEATH WAS 'GREAT'?!: Just like ANNETTE FUNICELLO, BRITNEY SPEARS launched her career on the "Mickey Mouse Club".

So when the paparazzi caught up with Britney yesterday, it's no surprise they asked how she felt about Annette's death. What was a surprise was Brit's answer: "I think that's great."

Maybe she's a coldhearted person who's dead inside, maybe she didn't understand the question, or maybe she didn't really hear the question and was just politely blowing off the paparazzi.

The third one is the one Brit's going with, Tweeting, quote, "Misheard a question I was asked earlier by press while I was out and about. I am DEVASTATED to hear about the passing of Annette Funicello."

EVA LONGORIA NIP SLIP: An EVA LONGORIA nip-slip anyone? Yes, please! Eva was in Puerto Rico enjoying some sun when she loosened the ties of her bikini top a bit too much. (PHOTO)

Longoria was on the island for a friend's wedding along with gal pals KHLOE KARDASHIAN and LaLa Anthony. Here's a pic that Eva Tweeted out the other day of all three at the reception ...

MARC ANTHONY and his 22 year-old girlfriend were in attendance as well. (PHOTO) Word is the heiress is looking into getting a place in NYC so she can be closer to her old-enough-to-be-her-father lovah. Meanwhile, Marc's former lover, JENNIFER LOPEZ, was photographer with her younger partner going out to dinner in Santa Monica. (PHOTO)

CELEBRITIES WITHOUT MAKEUP: 'Big Bang' hottie KALEY CUOCO was snapped heading out to her yoga class the other morning. Since it was a workout session and not a red carpet premiere, she was not her usual glammed up self. (PHOTO) (PHOTO)

CHER IS NOT DEAD, JUST VICTIM OF TWITTER CONFUSION: Following the death of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday, Twitter users began posting comments using the hashtag #nowthatchersdead. To them, it read "now Thatcher's dead." Millions of others, though, saw it as "now that Cher's dead," and believed that singer had died.

Thankfully, some Twitter users were sharp and kind enough to clear up the confusion before Cher fans went into mourning. As for Cher herself, she hasn't tweeted since Sunday, when she posted this photo of herself with her son, Chaz, at his birthday party.

UPDATE - RAY J THINKS WE'RE ALL STUPID, CLAIMS SONG NOT ABOUT KIM K: We all know that RAY J's new song "I Hit It First" is about KIM KARDASHIAN. The lyrics make that pretty clear. But in an interview yesterday with a New York radio station, Ray J totally denied it, even though it totally is.

Instead, he implied we the public are reading way too much into it. "It's [just] a song, it's not about [Kim], it's about a concept," he said, before adding, "People going way too deep"

Anyone else think Ray J's a wuss? Dude, if you're going to throw Kim under the bus like that, man up and own it. Don't throw it out there and then say we're the ones making something out of nothing.

TWIN SONS FROM DIFFERENT MOTHERS - PIERCE BROSNAN and SIMON COWELL: Prior to London's Daily Mail making the observation, I never realized how much PIERCE BROSNAN and SIMON COWELL resemble each other. But now I totally see it. (PHOTO) (PHOTO)

THERE WILL NOT BE AN INVESTIGATION OF BEYONCE AND JAY-Z'S TRIP TO CUBA: A number of politicians and activists blasted BEYONCE and JAY-Z'S recent fifth anniversary trip to Cuba, a Communist country that Americans are banned from visiting for strictly tourism purposes.

But although some didn't approve, it turns out the U.S. government sure did. According to Reuters, it was fully vetted by the U.S. Treasury Department, which deemed the trip a "cultural exchange." Of course it was. Bey, Jay, and the president are pretty tight, you know.

SNAPSHOT: HALLE BERRY hit the red carpet in Buenos Aires yesterday to promote her new movie, and this time she wasn't trying to hide her rapidly growing baby bump. (PHOTO) (PHOTO)

In an interview with CNN, the 46 year-old called her pregnancy "the biggest surprise of my life" because she thought at her age she was "past the point" of having another baby.  And although online gossip sites have reported she and Olivier are expecting a boy, Berry insists she doesn’t know the sex of the baby yet.

RUSSELL BRAND SWATTED:  Another day another celebrity is swatted. This time the victim is RUSSELL BRAND.

TMZ says police descended on the comedian's L.A. home Monday after receiving a call from someone reporting two men with guns approaching the home. When the officers arrived on the scene, no one was there -- Russell himself had left the home 30 minutes before the call.

On Friday, Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez's homes were both swatted. Rihanna and Diddy were hit last week too.
