BYNES WON'T BE CHARGED FOR DUI, BUT NOT IN THE CLEAR YET: AMANDA BYNES will not face charges in connection with an arrest last September on suspicion of driving under the influence. But she can't put the incident behind her just yet.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office tells E! News that while it has declined to press charges, the case is being forwarded to Los Angeles prosecutors as a potential violation of her probation.

Bynes, who's on probation for a 2012 DUI arrest, was arrested in Los Angeles last September for allegedly driving under the influence of a drug. The following month, she was placed on a psychiatric hold; she was released from the hospital a few weeks later.

JAIL TIME FOR LINDSAY?: LINDSAY LOHAN failed, for a second time, to complete her court-mandated community service and sources tell TMZ it could mean jail time.

Lohan was slapped with 240 hours of community service after she rear-ended an 18-wheeler back in 2012 -- while she was legally barred from driving because of prior run-ins with the law.

The site says Linds was supposed to have finished the hours on November 6, 2014, but at a hearing on that date, Lohan's attorney Shawn Holley said her client only completed half of them.

According to TMZ, Holley will blame the incomplete hours in part on Lilo contracting a mosquito-borne virus. The problem with that excuse is that Lohan caught the virus while vacationing in Bora Bora over the holidays -- when she could have been working off her debt to society.

WATCH WILL FERREL NAIL A CHEERLEADER IN THE HEAD WITH A BASKETBALL: Video of WILL FERRELL hitting a cheerleader in the head with a basketball during Wednesday night's game between the Lakers and the Pelicans in New Orleans went viral yesterday.

The woman he hits is supposed to be a Pelicans cheerleader, but in actuality, she's a stunt woman. Ferrell was filming a scene for an upcoming movie of his.
