BREAKUP LEADS TO SLEEPLESS NIGHTS FOR TIGER: The Players Championship gets underway tomorrow, and TIGER WOODS isn't necessarily in the best frame of mind.

In fact, he hasn't slept since Sunday.

That's not only the day he and LINDSEY VONN broke up, Sunday was also the 9th anniversary of his father's death. In a press conference yesterday, Tiger confessed that the three day window between May 3rd through the 5th "is really, really hard on me."

"Obviously with what happened Sunday," he continued, referring to the split with Vonn, "it just adds to it."

The former couple's decision to end their "nearly three years together" was mutual, according to individual statements. They both cited their "hectic lives" and "time apart" as the relationship killers.

CHRIS BROWN IS OFF THE HOOK FOR ASSAULT IN VEGAS: CHRIS BROWN will NOT be prosecuted for attacking a guy during a basketball game in Las Vegas this past weekend.

The alleged victim has decided not to pursue charges, so the cops dropped the case.

Brown was accused of punching the guy after they got into an argument during the early morning game. Just two weeks ago, Chris settled a lawsuit brought by a man he allegedly attacked during a pickup game in L.A. last year.

RELATIONSHIP REPORT - KATY PERRY AND JOHN MAYER SPOTTED KISSING AT MET GALA AFTER-PARTY: It seems KATY PERRY and JOHN MAYER just can’t stay away from each other. Us Weekly is reporting that the on-again, off-again couple was spotted smooching and holding hands at a Met Gala after-party Monday night.

John didn’t attend the gala, but met up with Katy following the event. According to the tabs spies, the two spent most of the evening canoodling. They repeatedly leaned in for passionate kisses and held hands as they drank champagne and mingled.

Katy and John were reportedly “over for good” this past March, as per various gossip sites and entertainment magazines.

On another Katy Perry note ... any feuding in any combination involving Katy, LADY GAGA, and MADONNA is apparently over, because they posed for a photo together at the Met Gala on Monday.

Back in 2012, Madonna and Gaga were thought to be feuding after Gaga’s “Born This Way” drew comparisons to Madonna’s “Express Yourself.” Then in January of 2010, fans thought Katy dissed Gaga’s use of religious imagery in her “Alejandro” video ...

Katy has always maintained that the Tweet was a general statement on the use of religion in pop culture and aimed at Gaga.
