ELLEN CONFRONTS SELENA: ELLEN DeGENERES gave SELENA GOMEZ a bit of a hard time yesterday, and this one went a lot better than the Robin Roberts / Chris Brown on-air confrontation.

You see, back when she was denying her relationship with Justin Bieber, Selena used to say she thought of him as "her little brother." So when Ellen pointed out that "a little brother is not someone you want to date," Selena had to agree, saying, "Well, no. That would be weird."

LOHAN LUNACY: LINDSAY LOHAN - the former, and probably future, jailbird - reportedly hit seven New York hotspots in just four days last week. The good news is she stayed sober. Regardless, Linds might have violated her probation just for showing up at an establishment where alcohol is the primary item of sale. She's due back in L.A. Friday for another court date. Stay tuned.

On a Lohan-related note ... Lindsay's father was arrested Monday night over allegations he held his girlfriend against her will and prevented her from calling 911. I heard police booked him on suspicion of impersonating Charlie Sheen!!! Hi-Yo!!! No,YOU shut up! You're the stupid one!!!

CHRISTINA FINALLY SHOWS US HER TWEETS: Our nation's long nightmare is over ... CHRISTINA AGUILERA has finally joined Twitter!!! Her first tweet came at about 10 p.m. ET, and read: "Here goes my first Tweet! Brace yourselves... So excited to connect with all my fans here. X.O. -- Xtina."

WTW???!!! BRAD WOMACK AS 'THE BACHELOR' AGAIN???!!!: BRAD WOMACK and EMILY MAYNARD have admitted their "Bachelor" engagement hasn't exactly been smooth sailing. And even though she was photographed wearing her engagement ring as recently as last Thursday, there's talk the relatioship is all but doomed.

If that's the case, the PopEater gossip site claims ABC is already considering the possibility of bringing Brad back for a THIRD "Bachelor" run. Their "ABC insider" says, quote, "No one ever thought Brad would be invited back for a second time after he rejected both women the first time he appeared. So it's not totally out of the question that Brad could return again if he and Emily stop trying to make this relationship work."

Supposedly, ABC isn't concerned with the success or failure of Brad's love life, (shocking, I know.), they're just trying to figure out if another season with Brad would be good or bad, ratings-wise. The insider adds, quote, "After America saw him try so hard to make his relationship work with Emily, they like him again. Everyone thinks Emily tricked him . . . they feel sorry for him."

Do we really need to waste any more of our time watching Brad test-drive another two dozen women to try to find a wife? Gawd, I hope not.
BABY NEWS: "Top Chef's" TOM COLICCHIO and wife Lisa has welcomed their second son (--his third) yesterday.

Mateo Lev Colicchio came into the world at 7.9 lbs., and joins big brothers Luka, 19 months, and Dante, 17, the chef's son from a previous relationship.
