LOHAN LUNACY UPDATE - FIGHT WITH MOM WAS OVER MONEY: We know more about the huge fight LINDSAY LOHAN and her mother Dina got into yesterday morning that ended with cops being called to Dina’s Long Island home.

TMZ claims the argument was over money.

Lindsay and Dina were in a limo headed back to Dina’s crib after a night of clubbing together when things got ugly. TMZ reports that Lindsay -- who had gave Dina $40,000 so she could save her home from foreclosure --asked for the money back, setting Dina off.

Things escalated, it got physical, and then Lindsay added fuel to the fire by calling her dad, Michael. And God bless Michael, he was kind enough to record the call and sell it to release the audio to TMZ.

In the phone call, Lindsay is heard telling her father she's being kidnapped by her mother. “Dad, she’s on cocaine," Lindsay says. “She's saying disgusting things to me ... I'm dead to her now." Lindsay also told Michael, “She’s like the f**king devil right now” and said she had a gash on her leg from the incident.

But apparently it's all good now between the two. Lindsay was photographed hugging her mother outside the house as he left to go back to L.A. for a gig. (PHOTO)

COULD BE TRUE, COULD BE CRAP - RICHARD GERE KICKED OUT OF RESTAURANT FOR FLIRTING!:  Did RICHARD GERE get kicked out of a Long Island restaurant for flirting with a woman? He was, according to the New York Post.

They claim Gere, who is married to actress Carey Lowell, was paying a bit too much attention to a blonde woman, which angered the woman’s husband. The annoyed hubby reportedly told Gere to “get the f*** out of here.”

But Gere's people deny the Post’s version of the incident. “Reality is, he was at a table with his agents and their wives,” said his spokesperson. “On his way out, he stopped to say hi to the people at that table, and joked with the people briefly before leaving.”
