The statement reads, “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate.”
DEMI LOVATO VS. KATHY GRIFFIN - WHO YOU GOT?: Evidently KATHY GRIFFIN isn't the biggest DEMI LOVATO fan. During a Twitter chat on Monday, someone asked her who the "biggest douche celebrity" she's met is.
Kathy replied that it was "probably" Lovato, and added that she was of the opinion that Demi "should calm the [eff] down 'bout Lady Gaga gettin' barfed on." [Last week, Demi criticized LADY GAGA'S recent vomit stunt during a SXSW performance, saying that it glamorized eating disorders.]
Well, that incensed not only Demi's fan army, a.k.a. the "Lovatics," but Demi herself. Demi responded by posting a photo of herself sticking out her tongue, and pointing her finger at Kathy in the background, with the caption: "Only a 'douche' to people I can't stand." [She deleted it shortly afterward.]
Some Lovatics meanwhile showed their disapproval by sending Kathy death threats, which she re-Tweeted. There were the standard, "You deserve to get cancer ... or AIDS ... or raped" ones. The typical "shut the [eff] up or we will kill you" ones, a few that told her to kill herself, including one polite person who asked Kathy to "please" slit her throat, and this gem: "Kathy, I'm going to stick you in the oven and kill you probably on broil."
Late last night, Demi hit up Twiiter to tell her fans to cool it with the death threats. She also sent Kathy an apology on behalf of her crazed fans, writing, "No one should ever wish those things upon ANYONE...I do NOT approve of that at all. Sorry for that."

During a recent radio interview, Gaga admitted boyfriend TAYLOR KINNEY is "totally in charge" in their relationship."When I’m home, I’m like, shoes are off, I’m making him dinner. He has a job too and he’s really busy,” she explained of her relationship. “I’m in charge all day long. The last thing I wanna do is tell him what to do."
Gaga went on to advise her lady fans that “it’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do."
