IN DENIAL - REP SAYS LAST AUDIO RECORDING OF JOAN RIVERS IS A ‘FRAUD’: A YouTube video claiming to be the last-ever recording of JOAN RIVERS is a fake, according to a rep for the late comedienne.
The New York Post claimed Rivers made a test recording for a radio ad for a friend's upcoming off-Broadway show on the very day she underwent a throat procedure from which she never awoke, but Rivers' rep tells ABC News Radio, "The recording is a fraud. Joan never made any such tape. This is a publicity stunt...wholly disrespectful to the memory of Joan Rivers."
In the alleged radio ad, the person purported to be Joan coughs after speaking a few words, and complains that her voice "has been bothering me," adding, "I feel like s**t" and "I'm tired already."
On another Rivers note ... CNN says her doctor snapped a selfie with her while she was under anesthesia, right before he performed the biopsy on her vocal cords that led to her death. Not only was Joan's doctor not licensed to perform a biopsy at the clinic, but Joan never signed a consent form to have one in the first place.
Shortly after her death, the clinic announced that the doctor who allowed Joan's doctor to do the biopsy was no longer with them.
