Here's what happened: T-Pain was speaking to the entertainment website Vulture and said that British singer FKA Twigs is one of his favorite artists -- then he added that it would be difficult for him to get her to guest on his next album because "she’s on tour so much...and she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing."
When the interviewer expressed surprise that Twigs, who's been dating Pattinson for several months, is engaged, the rapper replied, "Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that."
T-Pain later claimed on Instagram what he said was a joke.However, two sources tell People magazine that the two are engaged, so T-Pain may just have been trying to cover up the fact that he spoke out of turn.
Pattinson and Twigs have been dating since this past September, and a friend of the couple told People last year that they'd exchanged promise rings.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, the couple split because Suki "wasn’t supportive of his acting career." The Post adds that Waterhouse "spent Valentine’s Day away" with girlfriends on the estate of a billionaire in Austin, Texas, instead of in NYC with Cooper who was wrapping up his run playing The Elephant Man on Broadway.
A rep for the British model had no comment on the report.
RELATIONSHIP REPORT: JANUARY JONES has found love again. US Weekly reports she's been dating her fellow "Last Man on Earth" co-star Will Forte. "He's a good guy," a source told the magazine, adding that the two have been "having fun" for a few months now.
