IS GEORGE CLOONEY REALLY ENGAGED?!: Several news sites are reporting that GEORGE CLOONEY is engaged to Amal Alamuddin, the 36-year-old British attorney he's been dating for about seven months. If this is true, it changes everything we thought we knew about the universe and life itself! (PHOTO) (PHOTO)

A rep for Clooney would neither confirm nor deny the rumor because he won't "comment on my client's personal life", but so-called "serious" entertainment websites like People.com and E! Online are reporting it as fact. Even ABC News reported on it with certainty over the weekend.

Engagement rumors started last Thursday when the pair was spotted at a popular Malibu restaurant with  longtime friends CINDY CRAWFORD and her husband, and Amal was supposedly wearing a huge rock on her ring finger. Actor EDWARD NORTON at one point supposedly stopped by the table to visit, and George and Amal allegedly told him they were engaged.

A source told People.com, "[George and Amal] are trying to keep things very low-key but they also aren't really trying to hide [their engagement]." The source adds the engagement took place "not that long ago," and that the couple doesn't seem to have any wedding plans at the moment.

His future wife specializes in international law and human rights. She was born in Lebanon, and speaks fluent English, French and Arabic. If this really happens, she'll be George's second wife. He was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993. (PHOTO)

TORI SPELLING HOSPITALIZED: E! News reports TORI SPELLING was hospitalized for “undisclosed reasons” for at least six days last week. She was released over the weekend.

Though they've had their problems of late, DEAN MCDERMOTT was by her side the whole time she was in the hospital. An E! News source says McDermott "would arrive by 10 a.m." every day and would not leave "until 8 most nights." The only time she was out of his sight was when he'd go outside to catch some air or make phone calls.

No one's saying what the problem is, but earlier this month word was the stress of Dean’s cheating had taken her appetite.

IN DENIAL: COURTENEY COX is denying reports she's engaged to Snow Patrol lead singer Johnny McDaid. The rumors started after Cox was seen wearing a ring on that finger while walking through LAX with McDaid late last week. (PHOTO) (PHOTO)

Courteney and McDaid were at the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend and Court was still sporting the diamond ring on her ring finger so naturally she was asked about their relationship status. Cox kind of deflected the question, saying it's one she's worn "forever," but she obviously wants people to conclude that she's not engaged.

KIMYE MAY HAVE TO MARRY THREE TIMES: KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST might get married three times this May -- but it's not because they want three times as many gifts, or because Kanye thinks he's three times as important as any other groom. It's a legal thing.

As you've not doubt heard by now, Kim and Kanye are getting married in Paris on May 24th. And a source says they've been advised to have a civil ceremony in the United States first, just as a precaution to make absolutely sure they're legally married. Then they're off to France, where that country's law dictates that you have to have a civil ceremony before you can have a religious wedding.

Apparently, the civil ceremony they're having in America first doesn't count. So they have to have another one in France before the BIG wedding on the 24th.

'DANCING' UPDATE: DANICA MCKELLAR broke a rib during "Dancing With the Stars" rehearsals last week, but it appears she plans to continue.

"Had rehearsal today.. it's tough dancing with a broken rib," she Tweeted on Saturday. "@iamvalc choreographed an amazing routine- fingers crossed I can pull it off! :/"

Her partner VAL CHMERKOVSKIY admitted via Twitter "it's been a very tough week" but if his Tweet is any indication, he too seems confident the show will go on ...
