LADY GAGA PET PICS DRAW IRE OF PETA: PETA is not cool with this ... LADY GAGA posted some pictures on Instagram of her French bulldog, Asia, wearing jewelry -- including one in an elaborate piece covering much of puppy's face.

The statement read in part, "Lady Gaga may choose to decorate herself with elaborate and even uncomfortable outfits, but Asia doesn't get to make that choice...We think Asia . . . and all dogs . . . are adorable without all the added flair."

KIM AND KANYE'S 'KIDCHELLA': KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST created quite the event for their daughter North's first birthday party over the weekend.

The insanely expensive and over-the-top birthday party they dubbed "Kidchella" -- which was just like Coachella, only with even more loose women (Hi-Yo!) -- included a ferris wheel, performers on two stages, teepees, hair braiding, face painting and temporary tattoos, and cotton candy and snow cone machines.

BABY POOP: KELLY CLARKSON posted the first public photo of her daughter on Friday. "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose," she wrote, "Six pounds, six ounces, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."

Meanwhile, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, who is expecting a daughter in a few months, Tweeted this pic of her growing bump.

CELEBRITIES BEHAVING BADLY - HOPE SOLO ARRESTED: Soccer star and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant HOPE SOLO was arrested after she allegedly assaulted her sister and nephew during a wild party at her house over the weekend.

Police were called to the home around 1:00 Saturday morning after receiving a 911 call that a woman was "hitting people.” According to the police report, Hope appeared to be intoxicated and upset, and her sister and 17-year-old nephew had visible injuries.

She was cuffed and stuffed on two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault and is being held without bail. She’s scheduled to appear in court this morning.

Solo is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who currently plays pro soccer for the Seattle Reign. She made headlines when she claimed in her autobiography that her "Dancing With the Stars" partner MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY slapped her during rehearsals.

In 2012, she got into some kind of altercation with her boyfriend, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens. He was arrested but released the following day due to lack of evidence. The next day, they got married and are still together.

MAZEL TOV!: KATIE COURIC married financier John Molner in her backyard in the Hamptons on Saturday. This is Couric's second marriage. Her first husband died in 1998 at age 42 after battling colon cancer.
