NICK CANNON GOES ON TWITTER RANT: NICK CANNON went on a 19-Tweet rant yesterday regarding his split from MARIAH CAREY, saying he could no longer remain silent while the "evil bottom feeders" -- a.k.a the media -- kept publishing lies.
Then he lashed out against reports that he left Mariah because she's a bad mother ...

Meanwhile ... the rumors continue: E! Online says Mariah has begun divorce proceedings while Nick is begging her for another chance.
The source claims Nick recently asked Mariah “if she wanted to bring in a marriage counselor” to help them sort out their issues, but that she is still dismayed that he made public comments about their troubled relationship. [Nick told The Insider that he and Mariah were living apart.]
The source tells E! Mariah “won’t be caught off-guard again," adding, "She’s started the proceedings to make sure the ball is in her court from now on."
JOAN RIVERS UPDATE: JOAN RIVERS is out of intensive care. The bad news is she's still on life support. Her daughter MELISSA issued a brief statement yesterday saying Rivers is now in "a private room where she is being kept comfortable."
According to the not-always-reliable RadarOnline, the decision to move her out of ICU was made “after it was determined by doctors that nothing more could be done for Joan.” Their source added that she’s “being kept alive by the machines,” and that inevitably Melissa will have to “face a heartbreaking decision.”
Joan has been in the hospital since last Thursday, when she stopped breathing during minor outpatient surgery on her throat.

A so-called insider told the New York Daily News, “The only outlet that had expressed any real interest is People, but they made it clear that a picture of the two sisters together would be better than a picture of Ashlee alone or with her groom.” The magazine supposedly wouldn’t commit to putting her on the cover, either.
Just a few months ago, bis sister JESSICA sold her most recent wedding pictures to People for $300,000.
