Word is someone hacked into the Apple iCloud and stole photos celebs had taken on their phones and backed up online.
Reps for both Lawrence and Upton have confirmed the photos of their clients are real. Ariana's peep, however, claims the photos purported to be of her are fakes.
The other celebrities who also had private photos hacked and posted include RIHANNA, HILARY DUFF, KALEY CUOCO, SELENA GOMEZ, LEA MICHELE and KIM KARDASHIAN.
The FBI and Apple are investigating the matter.

Carrie's people also confirmed the pregnancy, saying she's due in the spring.
UPDATE - JOAN RIVERS ON LIFE SUPPORT: Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like JOAN RIVERS' condition improved over the weekend. Word is she's on life support. Someone said to be "close to the family" tells the New York Daily News that doctors have begun the process of "waking" Joan from her coma, but that "There's real concern that the part of the brain that controls motor skills may have been compromised, leaving her as either a vegetable, or in a wheelchair."
That, however, hasn't been confirmed by the family. According to reports, Rivers was placed in a medically-induced coma on Thursday, after suffering complications during a minor throat procedure
