Although the couple has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, TMZ claims the real reason Gwen chose to end it after almost 13 years of marriage is "because she believed he was cheating on her." The gossip site did not elaborate on the allegations.
TMZ also claims that Gwen was unhappy with Gavin's touring schedule, which kept him on the road too much. She allegedly put pressure on him to stop touring but that didn't sit well with Rossdale who supposedly felt she was being hypocritical since she was on the road a lot too.
Gavin and Gwen, who have three sons together -- 9-year-old Kingston, 6-year-old Zuma, and 1-year-old Apollo -- are said to be seeking joint custody of their children.
Since according to TMZ a prenuptial agreement was not in place, per California law, they are each entitled to half of what their community property is worth.
Gwen is believed to be worth around $80 million, while Gavin's net worth is roughly $35 million. Should their lawyers not be able to work out some sort of financial agreement the pair would split their combined $115 million down the middle, which would mean Rossdale would walk away with 22.5 million more than he has now.
REBA McENTIRE AND HER HUSBAND SPLIT: REBA MCENTIRE and her husband Narvel Blackstock announced they've been separated the past few months, and will be ending their 26-year marriage. The couple did not cite a reason for the split in a joint statement released yesterday.
Blackstock is Reba's manager and it sounds like they're at least staying together professionally. Per the statement posted on Reba's website: "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so.

BOBBI KRISTINA DEATH PHOTO TAKEN, SOLD: Despite the families taking precautions at the funeral of Bobbi Kristina Brown this past Friday to prevent anyone from taking pictures of her in her casket and then selling them to the media, it happened anyway.
TMZ says the picture was snapped at the viewing, and was sold for more than $100,000, although there is no word at this time who bought it. Not surprisingly, the Brown and Houston families are blaming each other.
The same thing happened to Bobbi's mom, WHITNEY HOUSTON, in 2012. Her death photo ended up on the cover of the "National Enquirer". [PHOTO]
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina was laid to rest yesterday next to her mother at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
